FAQ

1. Who are you?

Call me Malmal. Yet another mallu, who dreams of setting up chaya-kada right beside the Secretariat in Thirontharam. Pseudo-intellectual, pseudo-spiritual, pseudo-socialist, pseudo-egalitarian. 100% Prejudice.. 200% Malice..

When I am not spreading malice, I work as an ERP Consultant. Since the world has ERP Consultants in abundance, this helps keep my identity top-secret. And perched in my hide-out thousands of miles away from mallu-land, I seek to be a complete arm-chair revolutionary. Ente viplavam jayikkatte!!

2. Isn’t the term “mallu” derogatory?

Of course it is… But since I have already snatched the privilege of being the malicious one, I inherit the right to use the word without guilt or shame.

3. Are you, by any chance hinting that all malayalees are malicious to some degree?

Not at all! 99.99% of malayalees are saintly and sinless. Write to me if you feel otherwise…

4. What if I accuse you of whipping up regionalistic and linguistic separatism by invoking the malayalee identity?

Even though I am no mascot of world unity and peace, I do not have separatist intentions either. And the few malayalees who read this blog are intelligent enough to ignore me.

5. Why does your blog title read “Brainsick Soliloquy”?

The first version of my blog was titled “Brainsick Soliloquy” and for some reason it stuck. I have retained the title for subsequent versions of the blog.

6. What does “Entharo Entho” mean?

This is an expression used in the priceless Thiruvananthapuram Malayalam dialect, which means that the utterer is utterly clueless. Or that is what I think it means…

7. What genre of blogs does this belong to?

I don’t know. Entharo Entho…

8. I find your blog-posts mediocre and stereotyped. Do you think your blog and its posts are unique?

Uniqueness and this blog! Never! Personally I consider it an advantage of being mediocre. No one expects anything different from you.

9. Why don’t you post regularly?

Entharo Entho…
